Privacy Policy

• your postcode, which we use at the start of your project to apply regional pricing;
• your name, email address, telephone number and property address, which we ask for once your estimate is ready so we can show your estimate and email you installer prices. Providing these details does not mean we will share them with installers — we only do that if you actively choose to connect with an installer.
• information about your project, including your answers to our questions;
• photographs you upload of your property;
• the estimate and project information we generate, installer prices and your connection choices;
• basic website usage information, such as pages visited and device type.

• to generate your indicative price range and prepare project information for installer pricing;
• to invite independent installer prices, email you as prices arrive and respond to your enquiries;
• to connect you with selected installers, but only when you ask us to and give your consent;
• to operate, secure and improve the website;
• to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

We use relevant project information for installer pricing as part of providing the service you request. We rely on your consent to share contact details when you choose to connect with an installer, on our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service, and on legal obligations where they apply.

After your estimate is ready and you submit your details, Price Zen may share relevant project information with up to three selected installers so they can independently provide indicative prices. This includes your selected openings, specification, requested timeframe, funding preference and outward postcode only (the first part of your postcode), not your full postcode or address.

Installers receive only installer-safe or redacted copies of photographs. We take reasonable steps to obscure identifying information, such as visible house or flat numbers and address identifiers. Where a photograph is uncertain, it is withheld from installers pending Price Zen review. Original photographs remain private.

We do not share your name, email address, telephone number or full property address with an installer unless you actively choose to connect with that installer. You may connect with one, several or none. Each connection requires your explicit consent; submitting your details for pricing is not consent to share your contact details. You can withdraw consent for future sharing by contacting us; this does not undo information already shared.

We use trusted third-party providers to host the website, store data and photographs securely, generate estimates, and send emails. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes. A current list of providers is available on request from contact@pricezen.co.uk.

We keep your information for as long as needed for the purposes above, and afterwards only where we must for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution reasons. Retention periods for each type of record are kept under review and can be confirmed on request. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your information and photographs are held in access-controlled storage, transmitted over encrypted connections, and available only to people who need them to run the service. No system is completely secure, but we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) to measure anonymous website usage — pages viewed, project type and which steps of the estimate journey were reached — based on your consent. Google may process this data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. We never send your name, contact details, address, photographs or project notes to Google Analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

We explain the cookies used by this website in our Cookie Policy.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• access a copy of the information we hold about you;
• have inaccurate information corrected;
• ask us to delete your information;
• restrict or object to how we use it;
• receive your information in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To exercise any right, email contact@pricezen.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
